The creator actually sings the lyrics, but uses an AI trained in the original singer's voice to alter his voice to sound the same. He has to do a decent job singing in the style of the original artist for the AI to be convincing.

I saw where Randy Travis produced some songs with AI doing the same thing, someone recorded it and then they put his voice to it, it is really cool what can be done
