Rick Nuehaisel (sp?) and Chris Chowders program at 9 a.m. Apparently R N is going to be doing SEC games for CBS this year. He said he had visited all 14 fall camps in SEC this year and was blown way at every stop. He said at these SEC towns it is all about the college team located there. He said in Los Angeles it is not all about UCLA or USC. He said, it was an eye opener for him.
When asked was there one particular visit that stood out, he said, yes UGA. He said Lambert was throwing NFL caliber down and out passes and with the kind of RB's UGA has if you can throw those passes you can move the ball on anybody. He said, that Lambert is the real deal. Needless to say I was shocked to hear those comments, because all along I was thinking Ramsey. Said Ramsey was very talented but Lambert looked special.
