Y'all pulling for Kentucky or the white boys? ...

Conference or race? I'll take race on this one. No conference loyalty with me anyway. It's Georgia and F' everybody else in the lameass SEC conference. However, I will pull for conference some at times in the basketball tournament. But never in the football bowls. SEC is just the conference we play in as far as I'm concerned. We should have left it 30 years ago. And I've always hated Kentucky, back since the Joe B. Hall DAZE. Their basketball fans are worse than the Bammers in football. I'm just hoping for the day when we will actually have another dominant run in football and I can bash every SEC team mercilessly and it will be backed up.

I picked Wisconsin in hopes to win my bracket . . .

. . as I knew majority would pick Kentucky or Duke. Figure Wisky has maybe a 1 in 3 chance at best of beating Ky. If they do I'm in the $$$ in my bracket.

I don't care enough to hate anyone in Bball and I really don't...

care who wins the NCAA tournament. I'd probably rather see the white boys win if I had to pick. I've gotten so jaded on college basketball I guess I can't drum up enough caring to get too worked up about it. Watching a bunch of one and done "urban youth" play basketball wearing a college name on their jersey is too close to pro sports for my taste.

I'm really ready for the NCAA to raise admission requirements and make the athletes at least resemble actual college students.

but I went way out there and picked 'zaga. Oh well, it was the correct thinking anyway. No way I was beating everybody that picked Kentucky, so I had to take a chance on somebody.

give it a second thought if KY wins. I like seeing all the white boys on the floor. That used to be one of the reasons I liked Duke. They always seemed to have at least a couple of white players on the floor.

Don't want those bastids to get the satisfaction of an undefeated season. I'm pulling against them regardless of who they play at this point. We had them on the ropes and let em off the hook. I want them to feel the agony of defeat we should have dished to them.

I won't give it a second thought 5 minutes after the game is over ..

but I like to root for a team during a game. I usually pick one and root hard for them. Makes it more fun to me. Luckily, I already hate Duke and Kentucky and I like WI and Mich State. I imagine both teams I am rooting for will lose on Saturday.

Honestly, a shitty Georgia football loss is the last thing left that causes residual pain and sometimes I just laugh about them, too, when it's one of our particularly ridiculous losses.

I don't remember how the tournament payout works, but it seems like what is best for Kentucky is best for us from a financial perspective.

Also, unlike when one of our rivals wins the NC in football, it isn't like we're competing against Kentucky for recruits.

We're about the same, I always pick a team to pull for, sometimes..

for the most ridiculous reason, like the color of their uniform or the way the coach looks compared to the other coach. I don't think about the game any longer than it takes to change the channel or turn the tv off most of the time.

I still get pissed when I watch Georgia lose at anything, but football is the only thing that I think about for more than a little while. My emotion is generally more disgust than anger when we lose a football game because we generally lose to a team we are better than. If we get beaten by a superior team, I can take that a lot easier than the patented CMR "WTF" game. I'm not at the point of being able to laugh about it yet.

If you recall, I was close to drinking the kool aid after the Arky game. UF brought me back to reality and tech really pissed me off this year. Then, seeing CMR get a raise after crap coaching cost us all three losses this season and getting into the SECCG and a shot at the playoff made it worse. I'm actually getting a little mad thinking about it now.

There is a silver lining ...

I hope CMR gets it together, but a decent Tech either forces him to get it together or he will be gone. It seems to me that losing to Tech is about the only way you lose your job at Georgia.

It seems to me, he's in for good, no matter what. I've been a Georgia fan for my whole life and I can't ever recall a time when the coach love cult was as strong as it is now. I was a student when we won the MNC and I don't remember people being that in love with Dooley.

It's really weird how attached people are to CMR.
