but at a certain point, you have to accept that Ramsey doesn't have the goods. Ramsey apologists would have been great AmWay salesmen with their indomitable resolve and ability to shake off rejection.
Ramsey was here before Obama's second term started... yet he hasn't got a fair shake/hasn't had time to learn the position. Okay. I could list the excuses that I've read here (and they are numerous) and how elastic they are, but the fact that Ramsey couldn't hold off a guy who's lost the starting job more than once at a mediocre program, reveals more than you need to know. And it happened virtually overnight. I mean let's get real. It wasn't a three man race when Lambert got here. Staving him off, should have been an incredibly easy task... if Ramsey had the goods.
This is like a COO for Sony, who's been there for thirty years, being passed over for the open CEO position by a guy who just came in after being demoted from his regional manager gig at Radio Shack.
