I want to know where will and the other "law and order" "pro constitution" leftist are protesting and blasting the dims and the fbi for such unlawful behavior? Oh, never mind, I know, as long as its against trump all is good, fair and legal.... its only if trump does something they don't approve of that anything becomes an issue.
Well first off, Comey is a Republican, and so was his predecessor. He gave Trump the biggest political gift ever with the Clinton email investigation a week before the election. The mental gymnastics you have to do to twist this around to Comey being out to get Trump is something else.
Second, considering that Trump is the head of the branch under which the FBI operates, constitutionally, he can do something about it fairly easily. He fired Comey what, 8 years ago? If Comey committed a crime, you honestly think this particular DOJ won’t do anything about it? The only possible roadblock is the statute of limitations.

The swamp will be difficult to drain. Career teat-sucklers will not go down that drain easily. They’ll file lawsuits and fight and kick and scream about their civil service protections.
Stomp theim down the drain anyhow, Our government employs far too many self--serving leaches. Useless leaches who telecommute to a completely unnecessary job should have realized that they were useless and taken the generous buyout that was offered to them. Eight months of full pay and bennies. Not a bad deal for people that are useful.

Well. All that sounds good. Other than the Durham report. Which the fbi admitted to being over zealous in trying to get Trump. They literally confessed to this and said they made changes accordingly so this wouldn’t happen again. While the Hillary email was a favor for sure, slow walking the hunter laptop due to not wanting to effect an election probably cost him 2020. The fact that they gave Hillary a heads up and time to erase servers probably made up for a lot.
These are facts now. The report said they should have investigated for two weeks. Not 40 million wasted later which yielded nothing. It is really hard to argue with a confession.

I didn’t post it. Just what you posted in response wasn’t true. And was proven by an outside investigation not to be true. Their actions over and over again have been awful towards Trump. Including the approval of deadly force and looking thru his wife’s underwear drawer. It isn’t like he was the president. 🤦♂️

If LE personnel swearing to the accuracy of a document they know is false in front of a secret court in order to open an investigation on American citizens is not a crime, then the nation is in trouble.

I think that's the point. The FBI/DOJ wouldn't prosecute their own corruption. Trump's acting AG signed the f ing warrant for cripes sake. It’s horrible but from what I’ve learned and heard on calls we’re friends in law enforcement let me listen because they were the actual good people wanted to make changes to eliminate corruption.
Law enforcement is politicize by politicians in almost every level from city, county , state so it is no surprise to me that Biden and his team spied on trump.
Also after watching the legal system at a local level, talking to attorneys and other people in the system most judges and attorneys are indifferent or bias. It’s a small world they are drinking and golf buddies. Most are jaded and don’t even think they can make a difference.
It’s a paycheck for most at best but at the national level with billionaires, influencers and corruption I have no faith in any of these agencies or legal systems until serious reforms happen.

Let’s say for a second that you’re right and Comey, as part of some sinister conspiracy, was out to get Trump. Why go public with the Clinton investigation? If your end goal is to F over Trump, you keep that in your pocket. You don’t announce it to the world. Instead, we get:

The FBI has had issues for many years. In my opinion, the final destructive blow was when Obama gutted the organization of the few decent agents they had left. I see Federal Agents quite a bit in my current ( retired) part time job and this is what I have heard from some of their former agents.
