As we reported earlier today, Gilbert will be visiting Athens this weekend.
Gilbert's recruitment has been up and down when it comes to Georgia. At various points he has seemed to be priority or not on the board at all. It now seems we're back on the former.
He is very close with Donte Williams, the new DB coach hired from USC. Gilbert reports that he has been in contact with the Georgia staff often as of late. He also said that the Bulldogs are now recruiting him as a cornerback.
Overall, the coaches have been telling Gilbert "that I am a priority to them and I'm wanted there."
