So the SEC is staying at 8 conference games for now and the rumor is that ESPN doesn't want to pay more for an extra conference game.

One of the things that the Big 10 was praised for is their diversity in Broadcasting partners. They are spread across several networks.

The SEC leading up to this season was essentially CBS and ESPN in recent years, and now ABC and ESPN with ABC and ESPN being essentially the same entity controlled by Disney.

I wonder if its possible to branch off to potentially a streaming partner with the 9th game? The major conferences have been curious about it but none of them has made a big commitment yet.

But I wonder if the 9th game would be the perfect opportunity to dip their feet in the water with a big time streaming partner like Apple?

Apple was willing to pay the Pac-12 $20 million per team when their market value was absolutely at the bottom of the barrel. So how much would they pay the SEC to stream one or occasionally more games per week? Just a thought.
