Look, you win 29 in a row and B2B Natties, it is ridiculous that a narrative exists that Saban is still king. But Gumps have a history of being ridiculous. Kirby is still 1-4 against him and they will always point to their 2 best WRs being out (as if no one else has faced injuries).
I don’t like the matchup and at some point complacency sets in after 29 wins. But if we can win Saturday the Bama story is definitively over. They are the past and UGA/Kirby are the future. Honestly, this is true regardless of the outcome, but not even Legend can deny it at that point.
Should be fun. Honestly, as a fan this is so much more fun than ‘21 when I couldn’t handle a loss. Now I’m glad we are playing a good team and thinking about the upside (not the downside). Go Dawgs. Hope we get healthy and our young LBers grow up a lot in ) days!
