Substitute catholic immigration, women's rights, black rights, gay rights and other for your list above and people felt as or more strongly about those issues than you do about these. In fact, the impact on society was far greater just based on the sheer number of people finally becoming enfranchised into the power structure. Despite the fearmongering on the right, the trans issue is never going to impact a huge percentage of society.

So, our military has weakened. What is that opinion based on, your feelings?

Cool list, although I think rioters acting out over slavery is quite different from the act of allowing and supporting sex changes for minors. One involves civil rights for all, the other is child abuse and mental illness.
