I thought he made an interesting point today re: Atlanta's choice for their #1 draft pick next month. If they decide to draft QB, staying put at #4 and grab Wilson, Fields, or Lance.
Assuming they still believe in Ryan who I think is still a very good QB when given the proper support and an offensive minded coach, defense is their weakness. According to him, if they don't take a QB in round 1, they have a dire need at LB, edge rusher, and CB -- none of which has a star player in this draft worth the #4 draft slot's money. The closest IMO is Micah Parsons who could check both the LB & edge rusher box but I don't think he's a top-5 caliber talent overall.
Colin said the Falcons should trade back and then take Rousseau, Parsons, Surtain, or whoever else falls to picks 10-20. Don't overspend on players not quite the caliber of #4 overall and also potentially grab an extra draft pick or 2
