I imagine this will hit so different, liking asking about a favorite color. But damn, I really loved Norm McDonald and had to play a ton of catch up on his geniusness. Then he passed way too soon imo.

Side note...for a one of funniest comedy special..eddie murphy raw.
Also Anthony Jeselnik is so dark and hilarious. But I just don't think many were as thoughtful and cared about comedy like Norm did and it seems like a bunch of other even more famous people tend to say the same. Thankful for youtube. But also yeah to each his own.
Edit: living future comedian Theo Vaughn. his podcasts are probably even funnier than his shows but very relatable for me at least and just comes across as kind while using comedy to deflect and share smart thoughts that seem unthreatening
