1) Michigan is not an offensive juggernaut and moved the ball at will and left plenty of points off the board while also handing TCU at least 14 points
2) We manage 42 points against a much better defense than we will face in the Frogs in only 3 quarters ( we failed to show in the 3rd qt) while also missing 2 field goals and an interception. Btw if SB puts a little more air underneath that ball Kenny Mac scores
3) If we are 1A and Bama is 1B , the Bama vs KSU score should be somewhat reflective of our game
4) However , concerns we have are a) injuries , b) complacency at times during the game or lack of focus , c) turnovers
Finally , these young men are beat up , tired , excited etc all in one but fortunately over the season Kirby has built a lot of depth . Offensively, we may have lost DW and Ladd is not 100% but the Rbs are healthy, the line is pretty healthy , the Wrs with AD and Arian are healthy with great depth with the likes of Baylock and Jackson.. in other words , We Are just fine . Defensively, again Kirby has built depth all season and between the veterans like Marshall, Davis , Beal along with the freshmen like Williams , Walker , Bear , TID , we are just fine .
WE are a much more Talented team than the Horn Frogs and they would need a lot of help from us to win this game . We don’t need to be fancy just be focus and prepared. They will certainly try to steal a possession or two so everything from fake punts , FGs , kickoffs etc should be fully prepared for . They will go for it on 4th downs as well. Play a clean game , no turnovers etc we win big !
