Finally had a successful night of hog hunting. Not the big ones we wanted, but thinning them down little by little and having fun while doing it. There's not much better than sitting in a blind and watching wildlife that have no idea you're there. I watched a young buck for about 45 minutes and I swear, every time I get that opportunity, I learn something new about their behavior. There's something to be said for sitting quietly, no cell phones, no TV, no electronics....and just being, as well. It was a good night.
I've got a good feeling we're close to the end of the portal influx. Still got some thinning down to do but we've also got to see who is going to the draft. In the end, its all going to be positive for the Dawgs. Just claiming that now. Btw....I'm glad y'all got my BGP joke yesterday. 😅😉
