The peach bowl last night was the craziest game I have ever been to. I started going back in 1984. I’ve been to a couple of semifinal games and a couple of national championship games in the past six years. I’ve never seen anything like the peach bowl victory over Ohio State.
The truth is, I almost left when they called Brock Bowers short of the first down. My wife convinced me to wait for a minute thank goodness, and then Georgia proceeded to make the greatest comeback I’ve ever seen in the fourth quarter.
And I cannot believe he missed that kick at the stroke of midnight to ring in the new year. I don’t think LA will be as cold as Indy was last year. Looking forward to that trip and going back to back with national championships.
