Just spoke to Sacovie White at the Corky Kell 7-on-7 at Georgia Tech this morning. He told me the inside story of when Chauncey Bowens went public with his flip to Georgia.
On Friday night, the recruiting staff wanted all the current commits to get together for a picture. That happened the first weekend in June as well with Dylan Raiola in company.
White was in place and not paying too much attention when he heard a voice say, "Cut the music, I want to say something." When he looked p and saw it was Bowens, his attention perked up.
Of course, that's when the video of Bowens saying he was committed to the G took place. But there's a little backstory of how it all came together.
