So keep this in your head going forward. We will likely win only two more games the rest of this season. Maybe 3 if we get a good tourney draw. Realistic expectations might help maintain some sanity over the next 10 games.
Sorry for the repeat as I said in another post, the best perspective is that with two more wins we will finish 16-15 regular season with 6 SEC wins. Following a 6-26 (1-17) season I believe we would have considered 16 wins a huge improvement.
And I don't believe Mike White's team has quit on him. There's a huge problem with the bigs not running the floor. Ky exposed that weakness in a major way, while Vandy and SC followed suit. Opponents' big men simply beat ours down the court for lobs and uncontested scores.
We are headed to a better place, we just aren't there yet.
