Given that, former Ohio State Buckeyes right tackle Dawand Jones has even more going for him than anyone knew headed into the 2023 NFL Draft.
Jones was in Mobile, Alabama, Sunday taking part in activities for the upcoming Senior Bowl on Feb. 4. One of those activities involved is gathering the measurables of the players. Jones is listed at 6-foot-8, 359 pounds, big by any standards. But when they pulled the tape out to measure his wingspan, he was off the charts.
Jones’ wingspan measured at 89.5 inches, making him the longest player in the Senior Bowl’s 73-year history.
That wingspan is akin to what would normally be found on someone who is 7-5 1/2.
