Doesn't really matter but this historic run could have been the best in the history of college football if we hadn't lost the sec championship game vs Bama in 2021. We would be looking at tying the all time consecutive wins record of 47 straight at this year's sec championship game. I'm still convinced that Kirby and lanning were experimenting with the defense in that loss. Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter were spying on Bryce Young instead of the normal pass rush. Again ... doesn't really matter but I would love to be having a chance to break Oklahoma's record this year as well as potentially tying Minnesota for 3 straight national championships.
