in our win over Ohio State? They are listed in order of importance in my mind.

1. Missed FG by Ohio State at the end of the game*
2. Kirby’s brilliant timeout call before fake punt, mid fourth quarter, kept us alive; could have saved the game for UGA
3. Stetson’s TD pass to Arian Smith; got us back in the game, created great momentum
4. Stetson’s TD pass to AD Mitchell; UGA took the lead, continued momentum
5. Brock Bower’s amazingly acrobatic move to pick up the first down, resulted in FG
6. Ladd’s astute recovery of SB’s short backward pass, resulted in FG
7. Two point play to Ladd

How would you rank these very important plays? No wrong answers.

* Kirby made a brilliant call of the timeout right before Ohio State’s FG; most HC’s wait until the very last second to call TO, which allows the center to snap the ball and the kicker goes ahead and kicks it (this is what the kicker expects and wants because it gives him a chance to get in a practice kick); but Kirby called the timeout early, before the center could snap the ball, not giving the kicker the opportunity for a practice kick; caught kicker by surprise and threw him off balance…..Kirby playing chess!
