An Aubie sent me a text last night about Bowers’s remarkable comeback and compared it to some db/punt returner on his team. He said that after Kirby saw this guy’s recovery from tight rope surgery, CKS called Freeze for advice regarding Bowers. The implication to me was without Freeze and Auburn’s help, Bowers is still not playing.
I did not respond to the text, but I wanted to say, “Why would Kirby call Freeze? Bowers is the latest and at least the third player to get this surgery this year. Bowers came back so fast because he’s just built differently than most players.”
@Anthony Dasher @Radi Nabulsi or anyone else, have you heard of Kirby calling Freeze about this surgery?
