NonDawg I could list a bazillion of these. But name a certain song that just hits you, man...

Yesterday - Atmosphere

I Knew Prufrock Before He Was Famous - Frank Turner

Telepath - Manchester Orchestra

Iris- Goo Goo dolls(played at 1 of my best friends funerals, he passed when we were 15 and I lose my shit every time I hear it still)

Rainbow-Kacey Musgraves. Wifey and I have lived through both the heartbreak and joy aspects of that song. That REALLY gets me.

Messed up Kid- Zach Bryan

Let you down- NF, really anything deep NF does. Dude brings my life into perspective with those songs and it hits hard.

The Waker-WSP
Blues Man-Hank Jr
Before these Walls Were Blue-Wade Bowen
Thats My Job-Conway Twitty
All I Can Do is Write About It-Skynyrd
Good Ol Boys Like Me-Don Williams
We’ll be returning to update
All I Can Do is Write about it-Skynyrd
Firelake-Seger
Keep me in your heart-Warren Zevon
Only God Knows Why- Kid Rock

@Single Barrel Dawg it hit me just seeing you post "All I Can Do is Write About It", I grew up listening to a lot of Skynyrd with my Dad. That one always had a little more meaning growing up in a little town in SE Georgia, surrounded by nothing but dirt roads.

If Heaven- Andy Griggs

Released in 2004 but I never heard it until the week after my father died in August 2008. I heard it twice on the radio in one day on a long drive to a deposition in South Georgia. Still gets me.
