I still miss Larry Munson

Every year just before the season starts, I can't help but wish he was still in the radio booth. His voice narrated many of my best childhood memories. Since he stepped away, I can't hardly listen to a game on the radio - it just won't ever be the same. GATA and Dawgspeed Larry, you are still truly missed!

I'm with you on this one. When I was Georgia (81-86), I wore headphones to every game and listened to him call the game. I was at the 80 Florida game when he made, "There is going to be some property destroyed tonight!" call. Poor Scott has a tough act to follow, he can't be blamed.

I miss reading Lewis Grizzard articles on Mondays after the games as well. It was a very special time. I was very fortunate to be at Georgia at that time. I will forever be grateful. I guess that why I get so disgusted with Mark Richt at times. Dooley had his faults; but we were a well coached team. We knew how to block and tackle. Our special teams were special! Richt...not so much.
