and it was a cluster. There wasn't a lot of moral cover. The story sucked and there was no dissembling about it. But the core issue was advancing kids through the curriculum who shouldn't have been advanced. Not an insignificant issue, but the Tennessee story is sooo much worse.
This sh-tstorm that is enveloping UT right now is unreal. ESPN, ABC, US News, HuffPo, Fox, CNN, all of them, left and right, are blitzing Volnation. And the allegations are so much more disturbing than a curriculum/eligibility issue.
I'm not gloating about this because it's an ugly story. But given the national implications of this, and how early it is in the news cycle, I can't help but think this is going to be a seminal event for UT when it's all said and done. Hard not to think this is just the beginning.
