1. Dan Lanning- Obvious ties to Georgia as DC. Checks boxes for recruiting, physicality, players coach, young.
2. Steve Sarkisian- Building a perennial playoff team at Texas. Excellent QB/OC coach. Time in the NFL. Willingness to get a program to spend for recruits and portal.
Left off:
Lane Kiffin- Gets a lot of pub for being an offensive mind, but I just don’t see the same coaching intensity as Kirby or Saban are known for. Building a quality program, but I see a non-championship type of coach.
