Why would NCAA keep schools in other sports but lose money machine that is football? Wouldn't they tell other programs to kick rocks? If the power conference schools left and it had to be all sports, how do you conduct match madness or college world series. You'd never have the 12 seed St. Marys upsetting one of the big teams, especially since non power conference team will remain with NCAA.
