Leon was the snappiest dresser of the bunch and always wore a fancy hat. So when a member of Lynyrd Skynyrd had the opportunity to present an award at the Grammys, Ronnie picked Leon to do it.

Leon did not disappoint, taking the stage in a tuxedo and top hat. Later that night, Leon met up with Mae West and partied with her all night.

Leon passed away in his sleep back in 2001 at the Sawgrass Resort in Ponte Vedra Beach. The new band recorded this song in his honor …
