My first full year of hard core watching Georgia Football, although I started growing into it during the Sugar Bowl earlier in the year.
I’ll never forget when the season was over, I didn’t care how many wins we had (not many), I only cared that my favorite players, Ray Goff and Butch Box, wouldn’t ever play for the Red and Black again. I remember walking outside to my backyard and crying that they were gone.
I’ll never forget that feeling and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna feel similar when 84 and 19 play their last games for the G. And yes, I’m also pretty sure, at 56, I’ll still shed a tear.
