While play was suspended at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am due to weather, LIV’s final round at Mayakoba (televised on the CW ofc 😂) ended in a four-hole playoff between Joaquin Niemann and Sergio Garcia. If you wanted to watch golf yesterday, LIV was your only choice, and, if we’re being fair, that’s a pretty awesome way to end a golf tournament — marquee names + playoff.
I’m not sure anyone that watched yesterday will only watch LIV moving forward, but the consensus seems to be that the LIV product (although far from perfect and even tolerable to some) is not as bad as expected. “Golf twitter” weighs in below…
