They had a question from a listener on this week's Cover 3 podcast about fanbases who hate them, and Kannell admitted that he wanted to be "right" about the fact that we moved on from Richt too quickly. He went on record at the time that Georgia was in danger of becoming a Nebraska (fire a coach who was having what most schools would consider "success" and then get in a cycle of hiring a new coach every 3-4 years), and part of him just wanted to be right.....but now he knows he was wrong, because the proof is in the trophy case.
Anyway....I don't really care one way or the other on DK. I don't enjoy his Twitter persona, never listened to his radio show, and have pretty much enjoyed him on Cover 3. Just thought some would find it interesting that he pretty much admitted what many here have always accused him of......he was harder on Georgia because he loved Mark Richt and didn't like that we fired him.
