In the games he’s started this season, he’s only ran for over 100 2 times. One against LSU where he ran for 155 yards on 20 carries. The other was last week against Auburn where he ran for 18 carries for 107. LSU is terrible on defense and Auburn gave up 38 points to New Mexico State the week before
My point is, Saban knows he can’t go all out on the run to beat Georgia. Whether he says it or not, CKS has been prepping for Bama since the summertime. He has the perfect defense in place to stop the run and spy on the QB. I’d venture to say Bullard won’t be playing much Star because there will be someone else there spying on him. Bama doesn’t have a big play TE or multiple game breaking WRs that make you play more coverage. Yes they have players that can hurt you but I’m sure this team is prepared.
What Kirby did 2 years ago which changing the defense won’t ever happen again. He knows they made a huge mistake. This time, he’s going to let the Big Dawgs Eat!!!
