The committee did an amazing job this season and got it right unironically.

Should Bama fans be mad about what they saw last night? 100%, but they’re upset for the wrong reasons.

They should be upset because when their number was called they couldn’t get it done TWICE.

Bama had no business even being considered for the playoff. You have to earn the right to get in. We don’t look at a sheet of paper and decide outcomes of games. We suit up and decide it on the field.

Bama teetered with defeat all season similarly to TCU and even lost one more game than them. To end the year both teams had a common opponent that just so happened to be Bama’s best win at the time in Texas. TCU beat them worse than Bama did and it was with their actual QB1.

Now there’s the argument of well I think they’re just better and that’s fine to think that way. However, the game TCU lost was in their conference championship. Bama didn’t make theirs.

You are a psychopath if you believed a 12-0 TCU who loses in their title game to a top 10 team by 3 deserves to be knocked out. At that point they had earned the right to be in and they PROVED it once again against Michigan. It would be one thing if TCUs loss to Kansas St was a blowout, but it wasn’t and they had already beaten them before earlier in the year.

Would Bama beat TCU? 100%. We all knew that before the sugar bowl.

We all knew Georgia, Bama, and Ohio St were the top 3 programs in America, but once again why play a season if you’re not going to count the games.

People who think this way need to stop watching actual football and go play NCAA14 so you can simulate your seasons.
