Spoke with UGA 2025 DL commit Justus Terry after his team lost the state title game to Bowdon last night. He had a tough 24 with the loss of one of his best friends and teammates, coupled with the defeat in tonight’s game.

Still, he wanted to talk about the Dawgs, who sent DL coach Tray Scott to watch him in person. According to Terry, the two have developed a strong relationship and he was happy to see Scott checking in on him. He also said that multiple Georgia DLs such as Mykel Williams, Zion Logue, and Warren Brinson all hit him up via social media to "come join the brotherhood." He said he's still very much committed to Georgia.

Terry, a newly rated five-star by Rivals, wants to be a difference-maker at the next level. He reminds me of Travon Walker, who he also knows very well. Terry is actively recruiting Savannah Christian's Elijah Griffin as well. Terry contacts Griffin weekly about him coming to be "a part of something special" in 2025.

Alabama is a real threat here, but Terry confirmed to UGASports that he's "1,000 percent committed to the Dawgs."
