Short backed off his Alabama pledge this morning.
We have said in recent weeks that Georgia has been building momentum with Short. He has been in Athens numerous times since he committed to Alabama, most recently this weekend.
Saban’s retirement appears to have been the final straw.
With Short now back on the open market, I’d have to call Georgia the favorite to land him at this point.
