Today at 8:50 CT we started seeing a database error that caused message boards to load slowly and then crash. At 9:20 CT we began pulling down boards to lighten the traffic load and figure out other solutions, and by 10:10 CT we successfully re-launched team site boards.
On behalf of everyone at Rivals we would like to apologize for this incident. There's no excuse for this.

Like I mentioned in prior days, I was concerned that some new, unforeseen thing would crop up with all of the changes. Yep..
I am madder than anyone. I feel this is totally unacceptable (granted I don't know how to deal with unforeseen issues other that to say it is someone's job to foresee those).
The good news was that the front page stayed up as it is separate from the forums. But this is our community and dammit losing an hour on Signing Day just sucks.
