NIL has totally destroyed the recruiting and retention landscape of CFB. I was talking to a very knowledgeable fan the other day. He made a very accurate statement. CFB has become a minor league for the NFL. We all need to see the whole picture. It is a balancing act between getting players and keeping the locker room unified. For instance you cannot pay a HS QB hundreds of thousands of dollars more than a proven QB on your team, or other proven players. Can you imagine if UGA paid a HS TE 750,000 dollars last year and gave Brock 200,000. That is an extreme example but Kirby wants to keep guys like Beck, Ratledge etc more than an unproven commodity, unless they are an ultimate need. We wanted Raiola but Nebraska needed and worshipped him. Kirby is changing and we will be fine. Sorry for the long post. Merry Christmas to all of you and God bless
