Just spoke with Johnson after Dublin’s win over Swainsboro. A few notes:
- Johnson grew up a Georgia fan. Said he still wants the Bulldogs to do well
- Tray Scott is in contact pretty much every day, with Kirby Smart and Chidera Uzo-Diribe involved as well
- Johnson said the staff views him as the “ATH” of the defensive line, viewing him as a guy that can be moved around to multiple spots. The staff has mentioned he could be in line for some playing time as a true freshman.
- Johnson will be taking an official visit to Athens for the Ole Miss game. He wants to use that visit to see how much Georgia needs and wants him in this class.
- Florida State will receive an official visit in December. Johnson is also visiting Colorado tomorrow.
- Johnson isn’t signing until February
