After 25 years of signing up in the lottery, I finally got picked this year for tickets to Monday's practice round. 4 of us going to Augusta and I'm looking to book a tee time for Sunday April 7th. I have it narrowed down to the following:
Savannah Lakes Village - Monticello Course ($100 per person)
Mount Vintage - I think $100 per person
Belle Meade CC Thomson - $100 per person
Bertram Trail - $225 per person
Aiken Golf Club - $140 per person
From what I have read, I'm leaning Monticello, Aiken & Belle Meade in that order. I know there are nicer courses but they are $300 per person plus. I know the Dawgvent knows the answer - what would you recommend?
I should add we are staying in August Saturday night so it needs to be a course within an hour's drive of Augusta.
