My team sadly is the Falcons. Geography thing and I pull for all Georgia teams except Tech ;-) (they are communists by nature).
Because of this when playoffs come and my team(s) arent a factor...which is often i kinda pick a random team to pull for.
How do you sort this out? A family member, a different geographic tie you had, most dawgs on a given team, a key dawg you follow, a random story or player your like?
This season, gonna root for Burrow...and afc the bills (just because i know what it's like to be a part of a tormented fanbase). Same with Cincinnati really.
Hope one of those cities win it all but also hope it isn't at the expense of the other.
