Kirby won a national championship by calling a timeout against Ohio State last year, he lost one this year by not calling one in the Alabama game. The 4th down play in the first half did not look like a catch. I know that the SEC claims it reviewed the play, but that is an obvious case of ass covering BS. Never in the history of college football has a play like that been reviewed that quickly. I was screaming "call a time out" at my TV as Alabama came to the line of scrimmage after the play. It was the first half, time outs aren't that critical, why Kirby let them get that play off is confounding to me. I definitely believe we win that game if it were not for that call. They score a touchdown instead of giving us the ball with good field position and in a game that tight it was the difference. We were the best team in the country this year.
