I'm going off a general theory here that Ohio State's "all-in" is actually wasteful alumni spending on players that didn't have great NFL draft options. I think JTT is one of the most overrated players in NCAA based off of one good game he had against Penn State two seasons ago. I think Tyliek Williams hasn't flashed since his freshman year. Judkins is 130th after contact with RBs more than 40 carries. I'm cherry picking any stat I can to back my hypothesis. Anyways, PFF has Denzel Burke rated as 81.7 in coverage. I go to check what games because Ohio State has a fairly backloaded schedule especially against teams with competent passing attacks in 2023. My question is how many games did he have over an 81.7 coverage grade in order to receive this grade. The answer is 1. How many games did he have above this grade against FBS opponents? The answer is 0. How many games against FBS opponents did he have a coverage grade greater than 72 against an FBS opponent? Zero.
