Try your best for a moment to forget everything you know about every player on our offense. What are your thoughts on them solely based on the 3 games that Bobo has been the OC?
Bowers- Looks like he can be good. Probably need to try to get him the ball more. Heisman candidate is laughable.
WR's- Overall just fair. Rosemy is pretty good. Lovett is pretty good. No one else really to go to. Not one of them can block besides Rosemy.
Offensive line- Very inconsistent and overall just bad. Truss shouldn't be playing. The rest are just meh. This is a C+ o-line.
RB's- Daijun is a BEAST. Cash is ok. Bell is pretty good. No one else should ever touch the ball in any situation that matters.
Beck- Not terrible but nothing spectacular.
Overall the players on this offense are just not that good at playing football. They're ok. Some are better than ok.
Now if we go back and look at what's happened before Bobo became the OC, we know that Bowers is actually a freak of nature, this is the best o-line in the country and our 2's are probably starting everywhere else. Kendal Milton if healthy can be a great back, Lovett is an 800+ receiver last year, Arian Smith can take the top off of any defense, Delp is a 5 star TE with tremendous athleticism for his size, and Rara is a pretty solid WR. None of this has come to fruition yet. Maybe it eventually will, or maybe it won't. Time will tell but it's not all Beck's fault and I don't think Stet in this offense would look much different.
