Question on Jalon Walker (not portal related)

There are a lot of different viewpoints on this board but I think one thing that is nearly 100% consensus is that Jalon Walker was definitively underutilized this year. He was by far our best pass rusher but was hardly used against Bama and when JDJ went down Walker was passed by Allen and Wilson at ILB. Just hard to understand.

So my question is, what the heck happened? Would love any insight from the staff and insiders.. @Radi Nabulsi @Anthony Dasher @cassiegracesdad @HHolland92
