Let’s get it!

Georgia was the last OV. Georgia was also Boireau’s first offer as a freshman. Both positives for Georgia. Did some checking with sources and Boireau wasn’t just giving @JedMay a line when he said last night that a decision wasn’t made. UGASports sources did not know of a decision yet either as of about 10 PM. In my experience, when these sources don’t know, it’s doesn’t turn out in Georgia’s favor. We’ll see if Georgia can beat out the Gators here.

McCray has become a big priority for Georgia. The film is unreal. Size, length, athleticism and good quickness off the ball. The ideal defensive end that could play Jack or even Sam in bigger personnel sets. This looks like a Georgia/Florida battle too. Will be interesting to see how some of this Florida momentum on the trail looks when October and November roll around.

Johnson is an in-state player that has really impressed the Georgia staff and has visited multiple times this year. I believe at this point a combination of McCray, Johnson, Ross is more likely than Nwaneri being a Dawg. OU is going to make it very difficult for anyone else to land Nwaneri, although Georgia certainly made a strong case on its OV June 2-4.

It appears that everyone is beginning to see how much JJA loved his last couple of visits to Athens. A LOT OF MOMENTUM for Georgia with the 5-technique out of Texas heading into his OV June 23-25

Sources of UGASports are still very confident about Georgia’s chances with Bolden. Strong belief that the Buford prospect decisions will begin swinging Georgia’s way sooner rather than later. Opportunity and development for Bolden at Georgia are something that right now, UGASports is told that others cannot match. An Alabama visit is left for Bolden then a decision could come shortly after.

Georgia had real men momentum with Breland entering this visit. UGASports is told the message from Smart and Scott is really resonating. Have heard that the OV only increased Breland’s affinity for Athens and UGA. Will have an interview later today.

At this point Georgia is in the lead for or in the Top 2 for both Breland and Justin Scott.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Plain and simple, Georgia is getting negative recruited to death at the position. At least when it comes to adding on to what UGA already has.

Let’s focus on those guys first though.

Georgia is thrilled with the 3 guys it has committed currently. Ny Carr is believed to be ELITE by many sources UGASports has talked to. I personally saw him and Jeremiah Smith workout back in May and both can absolutely glide! Carr is a natural catcher of the football as well, his dexterity is off the charts.

Sacovie White is as solid as they come when it comes to talent, build, explosiveness, and intangibles.

There is a lot of excitement and anticipation about what Nitro Tuggle will show at IMG this spring. A step up in competition for Tuggle, but the ceiling of his potential is very high!

As far as the aforementioned Smith, just don’t see him at Georgia. Would need Hartline to leave. Also, Smith’s antics this past weekend suggest any momentum that was there with Georgia is long gone.

Mike Matthews and, or Cam Coleman will just be very difficult to pull. No sugar coating. Think Georgia has better chance with Matthews at this point than Coleman. Not much better though.

Amari Jefferson is the guy that Georgia has the best chance with. Alabama has been the biggest threat to Georgia here for a while. We will see if Tennessee changes that with his OV there next weekend. Would be a great fit both on and off the field for Georgia. The Dawgs are pushing hard here.

Things are status quo with Ryan Wingo. Still a chance for Georgia but that would develop later on in the recruiting cycle.

Zion Ragins doesn’t end up at Georgia, IMO.

Analysis: Mike Bobo has a big opportunity to change the narrative this season for Georgia as Ladd, Lovett, Arian Smith, and Rara are all home run hitters that can put up big numbers on limited numbers of touches. Some of those jet sweeps and quick screens Bowers and McIntosh can go to the four guys mentioned above and perception starts to become reality.

Expect shot’s downfield to be taken early and often by Georgia.
