Has there ever been a college football team that had a successful season due largely to its head coach being supposedly more motivated/upset?
Keep seeing pundits bring up Saban’s personal motivation as a factor behind why they think Alabama will succeed this year… but I can’t remember a time where that somehow propelled a team through to a winning season, let alone a championship.
As if he or his team somehow weren’t motivated last year to prove they were still the kings of CFB? And even with a Heisman QB and all-american OLB leading the way, they still lost twice in the regular season… yet somehow this year will be different? Without those two key players, and with no confirmed starting QB?
