The reality is that this shows that Kirby will do whatever he can to improve the roster and create depth. Never burn bridges, and never hold grudges. Who knows, the silver lining is that we may actually be better with the team chemistry and not have to deal with what OSU will have to with Judkins who may be disgruntled after only getting $500k instead of $1M like Downs. Wasn’t Judkins already upset at Ole Miss for this exact reason? This jilting should not be seen as program destroyer like so many weak-minded people on here have made it out to be. We are in the position we are because of Kirby. He may just know a thing or 2 about coaching and roster management.
