Or at least easy to get around the rules, I’m assuming UGA is also putting out feelers to players on other teams? As one rumor said, OSU was planning to reach back out to KJ if Caleb had chosen UGA. I’m dubious that that information was accurate, but I’d assume we’ll do the same, or wish we would in certain cases. I know there were also rumors that we had put out feelers to the massive DL from Kentucky. In this case, it would be just as much to create more work and chaos for Day and their program by floating NIL offers through back channels to one of their DLs, for example. Would be a tactic to destabilize teams, even if the targeted players aren’t realistic options. Surely, this is being done and there’s so much dirty business going on behind the scenes, it must be insane.
