Seems like forever since we've played and forever until our next game. Don't know if there is a thread on this already but here are my thoughts on our starting lineups for 2023.
QB: Carson Beck (I think Gunner will push hard but Beck will win the job)
RB: Edwards (lot of moving pieces here. Does Lloyd transfer in? Does Milton transfer out? Robinson big jump? Haynes? Safe bet is Edwards being the main ball carrier.
WR-X: AD Mitchell
WR-Z: Ladd
WR-Y: Rara Thomas (looks like we are trending for him and would fit into this role well).
TE: Bowers
LT: McClendon (hoping we can convince him that a year at LT will make him a lot of money)
LG: Truss
C: SVP (Please come back for another year. Such an important part of our line)
RG: Tate
RT: Mims
DE: Mykel (big jump for Williams going into year 2. Hope Walthour comes back for depth but Mykel takes this spot either way.)
NT: Bear (Another big sophmore jump here. Don't see us keeping both Logue and Stackhouse)
DT: Brinson
OLB: Marvin Jones (just can't predict Sherman here but would love it if things came together for him this off season)
MONEY: JDJ (will be the best ILB in the country)
MAC: Mondon (3 headed monster of JDJ, Mondon, and Sorey could rival the 2021 group)
LCB: Lassiter (becomes a household name)
RCB: Green (this will be a great position battle through spring and fall camp with Green Everette Humphrey and Singletary)
SS: David Daniel (been a big fan of his play with the opportunities he has had this year. Dan Jackson?)
STAR: Bullard (hope Tykee comes back as an incredible depth piece)
I'm sure there will be transfers in and out that effect these but this would be an amazing group. Would love to know people's thoughts.
