there are many that run through my head daily,

on a limb, would easily guess your favorite band.
Rush grows on a discerning soul..

I cannot honestly put one Great tune vs another...

i will suggest that conductors are simply attention whores.
talented musicians can read music and play with cognizance!

also a majority of these "straight laced" musicians are into
hard drugs and perverse activities.

a travelling band, eh?

let it roll

Pug.

every one Loves a Gibson SG?
That and the Gibson Les Paul.
Fender has a reply!

a simple observation

Nailed it. Rush is at the top of charts for me. Saw them many times.

Favorite song would really tough. May have to think on that one. For Rush I may got with Subdivisions.
Or maybe Take Off from the Mackenzie Brothers. That’s just Geddy so maybe doesn’t count.

never have been a classical music fan, the closest I ever came to liking it was Chicago......and they were not classical, but they combined elements of classical with some of their songs......underrated imo.

Like all kinds of music but classical.

Still have BTO'S album with the song that you linked. Listening to them always made me want to drink some "brew-ha-ha's" and chase tang........or is that brouhahas?? I sometimes get confused.

imvho,
some of the classical eventually spawned Rock.
albeit, a long road...

You ever listen to Ingwie Malmsteen? His middle name is Johann and he has the fretboard scalloped out between frets.

no, but I will...
thanks

edit;
shredding for sure,
but for the sake of shredding...?

same could be said for some of my neglected 6 string heroes...

sorry about length.
it does prove my theory.!?

These days some players get so good they can’t be satisfied by ordinary rock music. The most perfect example of that was Jeff Beck. Steve Vai too. The most extreme example is Yngwie Malmsteen.
This is his fretboard on a vintage Strat. You should look him up. You might not like him but you’ll be amazed. And I spelled his name wrong initially. It is Yngwie Malmsteen.
