Re-watched Texas offense vs. Bama. Some thoughts:
- Texas didn’t play at that well. Wasn’t very efficient.
- Only rushed for 105 yds. RBs were at 3 yds/carry with only 2 runs over 10 yds.
- Hurt Bama with tempo and given how many plays most of Bama’s front 6 play, I’d expect a lot of tempo from UGA….especially if have defensive success.
- Other than a few big catches from AD Mitchell, the TE Sanders and the quick bubble/screen game was the absolute key for Texas.
- Ewers was pressured on 43% of his drop-backs, but a lot were on him holding the ball and the play design more so than Bama getting true quick pressure.
