The Democratic Party is Naked and Afraid

The Democratic Party is in trouble. They know they’re in trouble, and they are behaving more and more desperate, erratic, and irrational.

“Defunding the police” has never been popular with the American people. In fact, a poll taken in 2020 showed that only 24 percent to 28 percent of Americans supported the movement. Despite this, Democrats like Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) were vocal proponents of this unpopular movement, which even a majority of African-Americans oppose.

Still, the radical views of Ocasio-Cortez and Omar have come to define the Democratic Party more and more. As much as we conservatives justifiably lament the state of the Republican Party—which once again is engaged in a war between the Republicans in name only (RINOs) and the conservatives—the Democratic Party is also presently at war with itself.

This political infighting is nothing new in the Republican Party; we conservatives have been at war with the RINOs for decades. The RINOs hated Reagan and successfully reclaimed the party after Reagan’s second term; they likewise hated Trump and are predictably engaged in another effort to take over the party today.

But this infighting is new for the Democratic Party, which has habitually marched lockstep together in its efforts to dismantle America and our Constitution, and fundamentally transform the way “we the people” view our relationship with our government—from citizen-master to citizen-slave.

After the 2020 election, Democrats were banking on Kamala Harris providing the tie-breaking vote in the 50-50 split Senate to ram through their radical agenda, which would fulfill Barack Obama’s promise to fundamentally transform America and ensure that the United States passed the point of no return—establishing a new America that rejects unalienable rights and supplants this revolutionary ideal with the regressive belief that our rights come from the government.

As a surprise to Democrats, this outcome has been derailed and thwarted by two of their own—Senators Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.)—who refuse to vote to abolish the filibuster and allow the Democrats to transform the country with a simple majority vote. The Democratic Party has become so radical even Manchin and Sinema have found cause to object.

The Democrats’ aggressive push to move quickly reveals that they are neither confident nor secure. In fact, the Democratic Party is naked and afraid.

The writing was on the wall as early asNovember 6, 2020. Democratic Representative Abigail Spanberger, who barely won her seat in Virginia, stated on a conference call with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) that “The number one concern that people brought to me in my race that I barely re-won was defunding the police.”

As violence in Democrat-run cities throughout the country reaches unprecedented levels in American history, the indisputable Democrat-led calls to “defund the police” still haunt them.

While the “defund the police” movement is unpopular with the American people, so too are other Democratic positions and policies. A recent Rasmussen poll found that “a majority of Americans are against women having to compete against biological men in athletics.” Despite this, the Democratic Party continues to advocate for this unpopular policy.

In that same Democratic caucus conference call Representative Abigail Spanberger (D-Va.) stated, “we need to not ever use the word socialist or socialism ever again.”
I agree, because the Democratic Party isn’t a socialist party today, but is more accurately defined by Marxism and totalitarianism.

But Spanberger’s remark reinforces what I believe—America is still not a majority socialist, Marxist, or communist country. America is still mostly conservative—the so-called “silent majority.” This silent majority is waking up, as evidenced by the increasing pushback against critical race theory, for example.

I’m no Pollyanna and I’m not arguing that everything is sunshine and rainbows—it’s not. What I am saying is that the Democratic Party is in trouble. They know they’re in trouble, and they are behaving more and more desperate, erratic, and irrational.

This is why Democrats continue to promote the lie that white supremacy is the greatest threat to America. Their only “evidence” they can marshal in support of this claim is the so-called January 6 “insurrection,” in which only one person died of unnatural causes—Ashli Babbitt, who was unarmed and shot dead by a Capitol police officer.

Seventeen individuals died in the protests that followed the immediate aftermath of the George Floyd death—many of them minorities. BLM, Antifa, and the Democratic Party are far more dangerous than any alleged white supremacist.

If the 2022 midterms were held tomorrow, the Republican Party—even in its ongoing and imperfect state—would probably reclaim majorities in both the Senate and House. The Democrats know this. Their future political lives were dependent upon the passage of the H.R. 1, now called S. 1.—the “For the People Act”—which would federalize elections, ending the concept of free and fair elections in America and effectively ensuring Democratic victories in perpetuity.

As the Democratic Party grows more desperate and their inevitable defeat becomes more certain, so too do they become more unhinged from morality and their lies become more ridiculous and disgraceful.

This is why they now seek to place the “defund the police” movement at the feet of the Republican Party—to rewrite history and absolve themselves from their own insane and unpopular position.

The Democratic Party is naked, afraid, and desperate. Their backs are against the wall and they will do anything to save their political futures—including illegally surveilling the likes of Tucker Carlson and anyone else who stands in their way. Things undoubtedly will get worse before they get better.

Ronald Reagan stated, “Freedom is a fragile thing and it’s never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by way of inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. And those in world history who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again.”

The time has come to make our stand. I’m all in.

I'm joining the defund movement. I think they're on to something.

Well said.

I want to see how long our resident liberals wait, before responding with an argument about the "insurrection".

They will ignore the point, of the post and argue about a detail.

Watch.

Zackly. “Oh yeah? Well that guy with the Buffalo hat was weird! He was scary!”

Unfortunately, the game is no longer Ds vs Rs. It is no longer about federalists vs statists, it's about liberty vs globalism and the globalist in both parties don't give a damn about the Constitution and they abhor the bill of rights. We are in a very dangerous point in our history if you believe in liberty and quite frankly we've probably hit the tipping point that will doom liberty in America.

Our fearless leaders in DC have too long spoken to us and to each other in hyperbole, they cannot differentiate an insurrection from a failed erections or election. All campaign drivel 24-7-365, drunk, sober, and regardless of topic.

Why WE put up with the shallowness of it all may be the biggest mystery and challenge to any pragmatists left among us. Sorry is as sorry does. We are just about as sorry as we (the people) have ever been. Self sufficient? Self accountable? That’s just mean! Cue the sniffles from politicians, actors & drama queens in news media.

You know what's amazing to me? They think the one incident at Washington DC = the hundreds of riots, highway shutdowns, and city block takeovers of BLM and others.

BLM takes over a neighborhood in Seattle, for weeks, and the government sends them supplies and provides garbage service.

Some crazy people occupy the capital for an hour, and the Democrats go bananas.

Hey don’t forget the burning and looting. I love watching those videos of protesters getting run over. Then they get up like they can’t believe they just got run over by a car while they were standing in the middle of the street.

Add that they quickly & conveniently forget that OUR country, OUR nation and OUR government is an idea! It is not a building or a nice office suite with a great view of other Capitol buildings. It is an IDEA.

Burn OUR flag. Tear down plaques & statues. Damage and destroy public property all across this land. Like a few flea bites compared to the real world of battling for freedom, liberty and individuals’ rights across the globe we the people have endured. Take a hint. And for those of you who claim to understand and FEEL the world as it is, you wouldn’t know an insurrection if your face/head were split perfectly in half at a sawmill so each of your halves could actually see both sides of “truth” and “whole truth.” They are abundantly different but only one is self serving.

I did try to read it but found myself bored by more wish-fulfillment masquerading as journalism. He cites basically no sources for his suppositions regarding the Democratic party, which are, again, what he would like to imagine is going on, what it's about, what it foresaw entering Biden's tenure, etc. He seems only now to grasp political realities that - pretty much everyone was aware of going in. For instance: "infighting is new for the Democratic Party." Riiiight....

This is an opinion piece, a screed, and not a very good one at that, but I am glad you guys get so much enjoyment out of it...

EDIT: out of morbid curiosity, I looked him up. The author is a real doer: "Fluent in Italian, Drew has lived and worked in Italy in the fashion industry and in New York City and Los Angeles as an actor, screenwriter, and independent film producer."

The Democratic Party has mail in ballots and most if not all social media banning the truth. Our Homeland Security Director was just meeting with social media giants directing them to ban government deemed misinformatio. This is in regards to the up coming covid scare being sit up for this next years mid term election. The media willl be able to stop the spread of truth about Covid and election fraud.
